Patch boxes vary a lot in how much they tell you. A minute with the label answers most of what you need to know.
1. The nicotine amount per patch
This should be a number in milligrams. Ours is 7 mg. If you can't find a figure, you don't know what's in the patch.
2. The full ingredient list
Every ingredient should be named. Words like "blend", "complex" or "proprietary formula" with no list underneath are a warning sign.
3. The count and the directions
Check how many patches are in the box and how often each one is meant to be replaced. One patch a day and 30 per box means a month's supply.
4. The warnings
A responsible label tells you who shouldn't use the product and how to store it safely. Nicotine products belong out of reach of children and pets.
Wording to look twice at
"Natural" and "herbal" describe ingredients, nothing more. They aren't quality marks. Read them as a prompt to check the list, not as an answer.
